New Archeologist in Big Data

“Just as dinosaur fossils tell us about biological evolution, linguistic fossils would help us understand how language evolves.”

[Uncharted, Erez Aiden & Jean-Baptiste Michael]

Charles Darwin used long historical data to understand the process of change, leading to his magnum opus, “On the origin of species”. Also, archaeologists have tried to find more fossils to show the evidence and elucidate the history of all living things on Earth.

In Big Data (actually Long Data), many researchers are trying to find hidden fossils to uncover the underlying complex system. These data enable us to search for patterns in macrohistory. This will be the first step for the discovery of the fundamental (but hidden) law of evolution in our world.
